Looking back at the roughest sprint my team has faced has still been the onboarding sprint. people seemed to not get along very well and technology certainly was not getting along with us. I feel like while the latter could not have been avoided the former was something caused partially by a lack of communication as well as spite from the members of the cut team. I totally understand their feelings that their game got cut while our moved through even though our prototype was not as fleshed out but it felt like the first week was wasted because of these feelings.
happily it seems like the bad blood has cooled and the team is getting along well. As I thought the issue was caused by a lack of communication something that we made sure to fix by the end of that onboarding sprint. But personally I could have done more for my team. I noticed the issues in communication and I still took 3ish days to make an attempt to fix them. I definitely should have stepped in the second I saw the problem and in the future I will keep this in mind and make sure to act quickly to fix communication.
Other than those small issues I can also feel the burnout starting to creep up on me. Other members of the team and the class are starting to feel it too and I need to keep the conflict mitigation in mind as people might start getting more on edge in the coming weeks
